WHAT IS THE AAC?
The Amenity Authority Committee (AAC) is a committee of the Village Center Community Development District (VCCDD) that oversees amenity fee revenues and expenditures as well as related policies for properties in the VCCDD service area as well as properties in Community Development Districts (CDDs) 1 through 4. The VCCDD service area includes home sites in The Villages that are located in the Town of Lady Lake and a portion of un-incorporated Lake County. |
All completed absentee ballots must be received by 5pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the following location:

The AAC powers include: discretion over expenditures of all non-bond required Amenity Funds, Rate setting of Amenity Facility user fees, operational control over Amenity Facilities and services, approval over future debt secured by Amenity Fees or facilities, sale of amenity facilities within the Center District, approval of future areas brought within the Center District, and establishment of a maximum Amenity Fee for the Center District.
WHO VOTES IN THE AAC ELECTION?
Members of the AAC are chosen through a Landowner Election. Voters must have their name on a deed for property in the VCCD service area, CDD 1, CDD 2, CDD 3, or CDD 4. Voters do not need to reside at the property. Each property is entitled to one vote regardless of how many people are on the deed. Being a registered voter or even a U.S. citizens is not a requirement for this election.

The District Government of The Villages oversees the Landowner Election.
