The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization consisting of women and men who share the goal of empowering citizens to sh​ape better communities.  In both its values and practices, it affirms its belief and commitment to diversity and pluralism.  Our local League covers Lake, Marion and Sumter counties in Florida.

The League's focus is on voting.  We believe in partnering with other civic-minded, nonpartisan groups.  If you belong to an organization that would like help registering voters at an event you are planning, contact us.
