The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization consisting of women and men who share the goal of empowering citizens to shape better communities. The League covers Lake, Marion and Sumter counties in Florida.

GENERAL ELECTION
Election day will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018. You may also vote by mail or during early voting. Check out our Voter Toolkit pages to find the information you need to be ready to vote. 
ONLINE VOTER GUIDE
For the first time, through the hard work of the Federal, State and our local League of Women Voters, all your election information is on one website: VOTE411.org. Races at the federal, state and municipal level appear in your guide. Go to the site, enter your home address, and click the green "ENTER" button. On the next page click the green button to get personalized information on the candidates and issues that will appear on your ballot. You will see candidates' unedited answers to questions and can compare their positions. Information about the constitutional amendments are also in the guide. When you have made your selections, you may print, email or text your choices to use as a reference when you vote.
