2022 AAC LANDOWNER ELECTIONS
Landowner elections will be held to select the Lady Lake/Lake County AAC Representative and the District 2 Representative.
Both elections will be held on Election Day
November 8, 2022
7 am to 7pm

WHAT IS THE AAC?
The Amenity Authority Committee (AAC) is a committee of the Village Center Community Development District (VCCDD) that oversees amenity fee revenues and expenditures as well as related policies for properties in the VCCDD service area and properties in Community Development Districts (CDDs) 1 through 4. The VCCDD service area includes home sites in The Villages that are located in the Town of Lady Lake and a portion of unincorporated Lake County. In other words, the AAC oversees amenities north of CR466.
The AAC powers include: discretion over expenditures of all non-bond required Amenity Funds, Rate setting of Amenity Facility user fees, operational control over Amenity Facilities and services, approval over future debt secured by Amenity Fees or facilities, sale of amenity facilities within the Center District, approval of future areas brought within the Center District, and establishment of a maximum Amenity Fee for the Center District.
WHO VOTES IN THE AAC ELECTION?
Members of the AAC are chosen through a Landowner Election. Voters must have their name on a deed for property in the VCCD service area: CDD 1, CDD 2, CDD 3, CDD 4 or the Lady Lake / Lake County portion of The Villages. Voters do not need to reside at the property.
Each property is entitled to one vote regardless of how many people are on the deed. Being a registered voter or even a U.S. citizens is not a requirement for this election.
Voters select the candidate representing their district.

The District Government of The Villages oversees the Landowner Election.
