Membership
Membership in the League of Women Voters, a highly respected and effective grassroots organization, is open to men and women of all ages. Upon joining, members are enrolled at the local, state and national levels, providing the opportunity to work locally as well as participating in a nationwide network of individuals from all 50 states, Washington, DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
Join or Renew
Dues are processed by the national League of Women Voters (LWVUS). The buttons below link to the LWVUS Membership Portal (website), where you will be automatically enrolled in the LWV of The Villages / Tri-County (LWVTRI), LWV Florida and LWVUS.

You determine the amount to pay with a minimum of $20 and a suggested amount of $75. Dues are split: 20% to LWVTRI, 33% to LWVFL, and 47% to LWVUS. After you pay, your bank or credit card statement will show separate charges for each organization.
Dues vs Donations
If want to give money to LWV The Villages / Tri-County, please don't add it to your dues—only 20% goes to your local League. Make a separate donation; it's an easy second step.
All donations are tax deductible and stay local because LWV The Villages / Tri-County is a 501(c)3.

Example: Assuming you want to pay $100 at renewal, select $75 for dues and donate the remaining $25 to LWVTRI.
Navigating the Membership Portal
​​The first time you log into the portal, you must enter your email. The portal will send you a verification code, much like other websites that require two-factor authorization.

​Using this verification process, rather than a password, is the default for the Portal. However, if you want to use a password instead, you may set one up after you enter the site for the first time.
​
Existing members may access the Portal to update contact information or sign up for automatic renewals. ​​​​​
