HOW TO JOIN or RENEW
Clicking the JOIN button takes you to the online Join Form provided by the national League of Women Voters (LWVUS).
If you are already a member and wish to renew, click the RENEW button. You will have the option of paying your dues by credit/debit card or "electronic" check (eCheck). The credit/debit card is the easier option.
You determine the amount to pay: minimum of $20 with a suggested amount of $75. If you wish to pay something other than the suggested amount, select Choose Your Own Amount from the dropdown option in the Dues Amount field. It looks like you can type in the amount, but it you do you will see an error message. You will become a member at three levels: local, state and national. LWVTRI will receive 20% of your payment. The system is intended to be intuitive, but LWVUS has provided step-by-step instructions that you can either read or watch on a video . We are happy to help if you have any questions or experience any difficulties. We will even take your physical check and do the data entry for you, if you are uncomfortable using the automated system. Please contact us for assistance. THINGS TO KNOW
The first time you log into the portal, you must enter your email. The portal will send you a verification code, much like other websites that require two-factor authorization. This is explained in the step-by-step instructions mentioned above.
Using this verification process, rather than a password, is the default for the Portal. However, it you want to use a password instead, you may set one up after your enter the site for the first time. After you pay your dues, your bank or credit card statement will show three charges: one for LWVUS, one for LWVFL, and one for LWVTRI. ACCESS MEMBERSHIP PORTAL
Existing members may access the LWV Membership Portal by clicking the PORTAL button below. Use this to update your contact information, pay dues, sign up for automatic renewals, or explore the documents LWVUS makes available to members.

DUES vs DONATIONS
DUES: If you wish to contribute money to LWV The Villages / Tri-County, do.not increase your dues amount. Your local League only receives 20% of dues Make a separate donation. It's just one more click.
DONATIONS: 100% of your donations are tax deductible because 100% stays local and LWV The Villages / Tri-County is a 501(c)3. FOR EXAMPLE: If you want to pay $100 when you renew, select the recommended $75 for the dues, then take the 2nd step to donate to LWVTRI.
